Easy English
What is Easy English?
Easy English means that in most cases, we try to use a simpler word without much change of meaning.
We try to avoid using Christian jargon (for example: atonement, or sin, or sanctification) without any explanation.
In the beginning of each meeting, we highlight 3 to 5 important words that will be used and explain what they mean.
In our meetings, everyone could read the Bible talk and the prayers (either on paper or on the screen) so that they could follow more easily what is being said.
The Bible talk, the reading, and the prayers are shorter. The Bible talk lasts for 15 minutes maximum.
We give opportunity to ask questions after the Bible talk.
And we try to speak a little bit slower in the meetings.
‘English as a Second Language’ (ESL) courses
We also offer ‘English as a Second Language’ (ESL) courses. Currently, only morning classes are available (see below), but evening classes in Green Valley are being planned.
